Peppermill Reno Resort Spa Casino has announced it will be providing a $100,000 donation to the Davis Creek Fire Emergency Fund at the United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra (UWNNS).

Established in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Northern Nevada, the fund will provide immediate relief to those affected by the Davis Creek Fire, which has ravaged over 5,000 acres in Washoe County, destroying homes, displacing families, and leaving thousands without power.

The funds will be used to supply essential resources such as food, shelter, medical supplies, and emergency financial assistance to families in need. UWNNS has announced that it will forgo all administrative fees associated with processing donations, ensuring that 100% of the contributions will go directly to support the victims.

Billy Paganetti, president and CEO of Peppermill Reno stated: “We are incredibly proud to support our community in such a crucial time of need. This donation is an investment in helping local families rebuild their lives. At Peppermill, we believe that being part of the Reno family means standing together in times of crisis, and we’re honoured to play our part in this recovery effort.”
