Grosvenor Casinos Celebrate Nine Wins at The British Casino Awards.
The night belonged to Grosvenor Casinos at The British Casino Awards 2018, as they picked up nine trophies at the glittering ceremony on Tuesday, 6th February.
The British Casino Awards, hosted at the Hippodrome Casino in London, not only recognise the operators and products that contribute to the success of the industry, but also the outstanding efforts of individuals from across the sector.
In the ‘Operator’ category alone, Grosvenor Casinos took home an incredible five awards; Multiple Casino Operator of the Year, Best UK Marketing Programme for the Goliath Poker Tournament, Best UK Casino Customer Service for their Sheffield customer service hub, Highly Commended for the Diversity Awards, and winner of the all-important Overall Casino Operator of the Year.
Elsewhere, Grosvenor’s Ace King Suited Progressive Table Game won Best UK Table Gaming Product; General Manager of Grosvenor Casino Stockport, Paul Baines, won the Rising Star Award; and Mark Stothard, from the Birmingham Hill Street club, scooped Highly Commended in the same category.
The awards presentation closed with the hotly-anticipated and first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award. The recipient was Grosvenor Casinos’ own Richard Wade, Director of Compliance and Responsible Gaming, who was recognised for his impressive 38-year career in the gaming industry.
