We are in the heart of the European summer, and many people are thinking of the next trip to tick off their bucket list. Europe is home to a diverse range of cities, including the vibrant Paris, the historically rich Athens and Rome, as well as the cosmopolitan hubs of London and Amsterdam -among many others.

Within the cities that cascade across Europe are unique and stylish casinos that attract thousands of gamblers each year. Most casinos portray the culture of their city through grand architecture, sleek modern design or a unique twist that could include interior decor, casino staff or cuisine.

Ahead of National Wanna Get Away Day (June 18th), which celebrates the freedom of travel, Gambling.com wanted to find out The Best Casino Hotspot In Each Of Europe’s 10 Most Visited Cities.

To find this out our research team used data from Statista on the 10 most visited cities in Europe and then found the highest-rated casino in each one, according to Google Reviews (out of 5).

Crowd favourites: Paris, London & Barcelona

According to our research, Paris, London and Barcelona were the three most visited European cities between 2019 and 2023 that have a casino. We have excluded Istanbul from the study because of the law’s prohibiting casinos in Turkey.

Between 2019 and 2023, each of the top three cities welcomed over 10 million inbound tourist arrivals annually (excluding 2020 and 2021 due to Covid). Paris and London each had over 20 million in the years 2019 and 2023.
