Konami Gaming has congratulated Vice President of West Game Sales Lauren Bates as one of this year’s “Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40”. She has been recognized by Global Gaming Business magazine and The Innovation Group (TIG) as one of the most significantly impactful gaming industry professionals under the age of 40. Lauren Bates’ 15-year career at Konami Gaming has evidenced an unmistakable expertise in forging meaningful business partnerships in some of the world’s most competitive casino markets. In addition to her senior leadership position at Konami, Bates is on the Board of Directors for Global Gaming Women and is currently serving as the organization’s Vice President and Mentorship Committee Co-Chair.
“The leadership demonstrated by Lauren Bates is characterized by committed partnership, genuine mentorship, and skilled ambition,” said Tom Jingoli, executive vice president & chief operating officer at Konami Gaming, Inc. “Her contributions have been an instrumental factor in Konami’s growth success, and her positive influence continues expanding out to the broader industry through work with casino operators, strategic partners, and charitable organizations such as Global Gaming Women.”
Lauren joined Konami in 2006 and quickly excelled, building strong partnerships and collaborative solutions with some of America’s largest casino resort destinations. She was promoted from National Account Manager to Director of Regional Sales West in 2019, before being named Vice President of West Game Sales in 2020. Lauren Bates will be honoured during the 2021 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Las Vegas this month and profiled in an upcoming edition of Global Gaming Business.
