A testament to Crown’s commitment to excellence, Crown Perth will this year host the 2019 Australasian Croupier Championships in celebration of the best croupiers in Australasia.
The prestigious industry event will see the best croupier representatives from casino properties in the region descend on Crown Perth to showcase their skills. Contestants will be challenged in technical ability, game craft and guest service in the classic games of American Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat.
This year, Crown Perth croupiers, Yew Foo Lai and Nathan Emmett, will compete against croupiers from casinos across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Macau.
An accolade to the Crown Perth’s training program, the 2018 Croupier Championship event saw Crown Perth Croupier of the Year, Paula Drew, crowned ‘Overall Champion’, as well as the winner of the ‘Best Roulette’ category.
Honoured with hosting this year’s event as a result of the 2018 win, Chief Operating Officer of Crown Perth, Lonnie Bossi, said hosting the event showcases Crown’s support and commitment to excellence in croupier development.

The event will take place at Crown Perth from 24 November 2019, with the champions announced on 27 November 2019.
